CT DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH
In collaboration with the Connecticut Department of Public Health's Cancer Screening Program, our team undertook the mission to educate the public about the crucial role of early cancer detection. The CT DPH aimed to spread awareness of the importance of regular cancer screenings and to inform the community about the availability of free screening services.
The campaign includes targeted initiatives focusing on general cancer awareness, as well as specific messaging for breast, lung and colorectal cancers. Subsets of some assets were developed to further target specific at-risk demographics.
It was also emphasized that gender-neutral language be used wherever possible, to prevent the alienation of the trans community from these important procedures.
The goal was to develop a friendly aesthetic that focused on happy people living healthy lives because they took advantage of free, early cancer screenings. In television and digital video shoots, real-life trinkets, photos, and other memorabilia was used from the creative team to ground the footage in reality.
The delivered assets included TV and digital videos, digital banners, both static and animated, and radio.
